It’s the second homicide for the year, coming less than two weeks after the first and leaving neighbouring communities and others across Grenada coming to grips with the tragic news.
The incident occurred around 5am on Tuesday in Tivoli, St. Andrew.
The government of Grenada has unveiled the proposed framework for a possible memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the United States, detailing the strict conditions under which third-country nationals might be accepted from the U.S.
The government’s criteria emphasizes humanitarian safeguards, skills-based selection, and full respect for international law.

Some passengers at the Grantley Adams International Airport do not know when they will be able to leave Barbados.
Industrial action has grounded outgoing flights, and while most inbound flights are on time, the airspace remains closed.

Charmaine Burgess, the mother of 42-year-old Andre Omar Burgess, heard the gunshots which took his life last night at Deanes Village, Hindsbury Road, St Michael.
She called for the return of hanging as she recounted last night’s incident in which another man was also injured.

Twenty-two-year-old Jacobi Nathaniel Bynoe appeared in the District ‘B’ Magistrates’ Court today charged with the murder of Wayne Holder and Keyshane Bynoe, as well as a firearm offence.
He was remanded to the Barbados Prison Service and is due to reappear in the District F Magistrates’ Court on May 8.
