Lynette Hooker case: Husband of missing woman in Bahamas released without charges
Authorities in the Bahamas on Monday released Brian Hooker, the husband of an American woman who disappeared earlier this month. His attorney, Terrel Butler, said authorities "had no evidence" against him. Hooker had been held in custody as investigators looked into the disappearance of Lynette Hooker after he told authorities that she fell overboard from a boat they were traveling in.
Earlier this month, Hooker initially told authorities that his wife fell overboard with the boat keys, causing the engine to turn off. He then paddled to shore and alerted someone about her disappearance.
